Uncle Kim, 86 years old, lives alone in a low-cost flat. Due to his advanced age and limited mobility, his meals are delivered by his children. However, as his children have to work, they cannot provide long-term care for Uncle Kim. As his physical strength declines, he can no longer stand on his own. To move around the house, he relies on a cloth tied to the ceiling, which he pulls himself along with his hands. This is extremely dangerous, as any small mistake could lead to an accident with unimaginable consequences.
Uncle Kim is quite stubborn. When he first arrived, he insisted on going back home. However, after experiencing the care and kindness of the caregivers, he quickly became a part of our family. He even often asks us for massages. His daughter finds this unbelievable, as she initially thought he would continue to insist on returning home.
