Ah Seng, aged 79, is single and has lost both his parents. He formerly worked in the painting industry and, after retirement, assisted at a nearby mamak stall. He resides in his ancestral home, renting a room to a Malay tenant.
Following a stroke, Ah Seng became unable to care for himself. The Malay tenant ensured he had two meals a day, but his overall condition was poor, and he went an entire week without bathing.
Upon learning of his situation, our center immediately decided to assist Ah Seng during this challenging period. Upon his arrival at our center, Ah Seng exhibited strong determination, frequently initiating rehabilitation exercises on his own. We provided encouragement, and Ah Seng expressed his desire to recover swiftly so that his place could be available for someone in greater need. We firmly believe that Ah Seng will achieve his goal.
