Warm Support for a Man in Recovery and His OKU Mother

Recently, a man from Cheras reached out to our centre for help. He underwent back tumor removal surgery due to diabetes complications and is still recovering, unable to work for now. At home, his mother—an OKU (person with disabilities)—also requires care, adding to the family’s financial strain.

After a home visit and needs assessment, our centre provided emergency essentials and basic support, hoping he can focus on healing, regain strength, and return to work when he’s ready. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all kind donors. Your generosity not only keeps our centre running smoothly, it also allows more vulnerable families to feel seen, supported, and empowered during difficult times.

Every parcel carries love and hope; every act of kindness lights their way forward. May compassion continue to ripple outward and gather into a greater warmth for all.
